Individual Psychotherapy

Many people seek out therapy for support around stress, depression, work or relationship issues. For some people, therapy is about getting to know themselves better and developing self-acceptance. Individual therapy can be a useful tool for creating the changes we want to see in our lives and breaking habits and patterns that no longer serve us.

Relationship Counseling

Couples sometimes find themselves repeating the same arguments over and over or struggling to resolve the same issues. These cycles can feel defeating and frustrating and can place the relationship at a cross-roads. Couples counseling is a space to actively engage with those cycles, understand them, and create new healthier ways of relating to each other.

Sex Therapy

Portland Therapy

Sex Therapy is very similar to other forms of talk therapy provided in a confidential space by a trained and licensed therapist. People experiencing concerns about their sexual functioning, sexual or gender identity, or sexual behavior can find it helpful to work with a therapist trained specifically to address  these issues. During sex therapy, the therapist will gather a sexual history and work with you to develop a plan to address your needs. Sex therapy will never involve any sexual or inappropriate contact between the therapist and the client(s).

We are increasingly living in a connected, mobile world. Teletherapy provides the opportunity for support and access to therapy services from anywhere in the world. Teletherapy allows clients access to regular therapy who may not otherwise be able to attend regular sessions in person. Teletherapy can also be ideal for clients who travel often for work or who live outside the Portland metro area.

How does this work?

You will be sent a link for the video session prior to your appointment which you will be able to access via your computer or via the Telehealth by SimplePractice app. Our Teletherapy services are secure fully HIPAA compliant. Following your sessions, you will be provided with a receipt for services which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
